LIFE IN SLOW MOTION is a film project I started last year while on my travels through Indonesia.

Getting out my camera was an opportunity for me to connect with the local people around me, viewing life through their eyes and shooting always in slow motion was a way to literally slow time down, to capture that extra hint of a smile, to stay a little longer in the sparkle of a child’s eye as they explore the world around them.

LIFE IN SLOW MOTION is about forging connections with the people who own the lands I tread upon, going through the simple day-to-day motions with them not just as an observer but as a friend and understanding their culture more fully for the simple moments shared.
