Week Forty Nine. Something About These Streets.
I first met the amazingly talented Lisa Mitchell about 7 years ago. We fell in love instantly. Over the years we have dreamed and schemed together. Written songs under blanket forts and in jungle like back yards. Shared adventures through the streets of Melbourne, sat together in English bookstores and drunk copious amounts of tea!
She is one of my favourite people on this earth, a special soul with so much magic to share with the world, not only through her music but just simply by who she is as a person. I was lucky enough to once again witness her mesmerising stage presence in Perth a few weeks ago. Enjoy (and if you haven’t already, buy her album. It’s AMAZING!)
