Week four. The solitude of the forest and the quiet of a leisurely life has given way to the fullness and liveliness of moving back to the family home. There is a happiness that comes from being around the people you feel you truly belong with. Spending time with family, taking my nieces and nephews for paddle practice (as I prepare for surfing all day in Lombok and Sri Lanka). Spending time with brothers as they help me create my dream board and seeing those amazing friends who you can lay about naked in the sun with all day. Amongst all the craziness of the holiday season I have been trying to make time for myself in the small hours of the morning, time to write, reflect and listen to those beloved records that I have been away from for far too long.
